The 2019 Toyota Tundra

The 2019 Toyota Tundra is available in five separate trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and the TRD Pro. There’s also a special 1794 Edition. As far as the engine is concerned, you have two options: a 4.6-liter V8 engine that produces 310 hp and 327 lb-ft of torque or a 5.7-liter V8 engine that delivers 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque.

Each trim of the 2019 Tundra comes with a variety of comfort, technology, and safety features. However, for those looking for off-road equipment, you’ll want to consider the TRD Off-Road package, which comes with LED headlights, trail-tuned shock absorbers, tow hooks, off-road tires, skid plates, and more. The top trim, the TRD Pro, already comes with aluminum Fox shocks, a front skid plate, a hood scoop, and other features.

The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado

The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is offered in eight distinct trim levels: WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country. Several engine choices are available. First, the WT comes with a 4.3-liter V6 engine that generates 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. The LT gains a 2.7-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers 310 hp and 348 lb-ft of torque. The LT Trail Boss provides a 5.3-liter V8 engine that delivers 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque.

While each trim level offers a variety of features and amenities, the Chevy Silverado also gives drivers the chance to equip the truck with numerous packages. For instance, there’s a Max Trailering package that gets you a higher-capacity radiator and a heavier-duty suspension calibration. You’ll also want to consider the Safety package, which gives you much-needed safety features such as rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, front parking sensors, and blind-spot warning. In addition to this, there’s a Safety package II, which comes with lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, a safety alert seat, and more.

How Can You Choose?

As you can see, there’s much to love about these popular trucks. The 2019 Chevy Silverado certainly makes it mark for the 2019 model year by providing eight trim levels and many different engine options. Don’t let the large number of trims fool you, though. As we mentioned above, the Silverado doesn’t bring the much-needed safety features as standard. Unfortunately, despite the many trims, you still have to equip the safety features with packages. For the 2019 Tundra, however, you receive plenty of safety, comfort, and technology features with each trim level. Although it doesn’t offer as many engine options, it still provides the things that matter most. That’s why we suggest the 2019 Toyota Tundra!
