The 2019 Toyota Corolla

The 2019 Toyota Corolla provides six separate trim levels: L, LE, LE Eco, SE, XSE, and XLE. The base L receives a height-adjustable driver seat, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, automatic high beams, a 6.1-inch touchscreen, automatic emergency braking, a USB port, a CD player, LED headlights, and much more.

The LE offers automatic climate control, 16-inch steel wheels, variable intermittent wipers, heated mirrors, keyless entry, upgraded upholstery, and more.

The LE Eco adds different suspension tuning, aerodynamic enhancements, special 15-inch wheels and tires, and a different engine.

The XLE gains a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheels, satellite radio, simulated leather upholstery, and keyless entry and ignition.

The SE comes with a rear spoiler, steering-wheel paddle shifters, a unique front-end, and a sport-style gauge cluster.

The top trim, the XSE, features heated front seats, paddle shifters, full SofTex upholstery, and a power driver’s seat. In addition to these trim levels, you can also equip a few packages to the Corolla as well.

The standard engine is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that puts out 132 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes paired to a continuously variable transmission. The LE Eco offers a slightly different engine that produces 140 hp and 126 lb-ft of torque.

The 2019 Hyundai Elantra

The 2019 Hyundai Elantra is offered in six unique trims: SE, SEL, Value Edition, Eco, Limited, and Sport. The base SE trim receives a rearview camera, a 5-inch display, a USB port, air conditioning, power mirrors, front disc and rear drum brakes, 15-inch steel wheels, and a six-speaker sound system.

The SEL gets you rear disc brakes, automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, a 7-inch touchscreen, 16-inch alloy wheels, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, forward collision warning, a drowsy driver alert system, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keeping assist, and satellite radio.

The Value Edition adds LED daytime running lights, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, heated front seats, a sunroof, Hyundai’s Blue Link Connected Car system, a hands-free trunk release, and more.

The Eco gains 15-inch alloy wheels and dual USB ports.

The Limited gets you leather upholstery, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and automatic high beams, a wireless charging pad, an eight-speaker Infinity premium audio system, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a sliding armrest.

The top trim, the Sport, comes with sporty themes such as a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a black headliner, front sport seats, stronger brakes, and a unique gauge cluster.

When it comes to the engine of the Elantra, all trims except for the Eco receive a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that delivers 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque. While the SE comes with a six-speed manual transmission, the other trims can be equipped with a six-speed automatic if you desire. The Eco gets you a 1.4-liter four-cylinder that generates 128 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
